Hi! I am so happy to welcome you to my Blog.

Hi, I am Iza. And currently living my life to the fullest... or at least as much as possible right now. I would have been planning my travel year at the moment, if the world wouldn't be quarantined right now. But that's just how life goes: anything is possible at anytime.

I started realizing that I truly enjoy to just sit down, think and write about everything that happens on this earth. And after a lot of thinking and consideration I decided to write about my experiences and thoughts and see what the world has to offer.

I come from Switzerland, but originally, I am from the Netherlands and sometimes my siblings and I speak in a mash-up of four, five and sometimes even six different languages. I really enjoy learning more about different languages and cultures. That’s one of the reasons for my dreams of traveling to a few different countries.

Next to the normal “Teenage troubles”, I was trying to accept myself for who I am. Which was a little more difficult for me after I lost all of my hair when I was twelve years old. I started writing my thoughts down on paper in the form of songs. I started to teach myself how to play the piano, so I could accompany myself while I was singing my songs. Writing those songs, taking the time to teach myself the piano was the way I was processing my hair loss and the difficulties that came with it while being a teenager.

I am not an expert in everything I write about. With this blog I just want to show the ones who can relate to my stories that they can get through it as well. I want to inspire you to go with your gut and chase your dreams, to show yourself your worth by taking a chance and make the change you have been dreaming of. Show yourself some love and respect and listen to your own thoughts and desires. And hopefully it will lead you to self-acceptance too so that you are able to be more present in your life.
